Building Façade Access equipment planned maintenance

Rotrex OnSite provides façade access equipment maintenance services that enable organisations to provide safe working conditions, while meeting relevant safety legislation.

Exposed to all weathers, all year around, façade access equipment (much of which is roof-based) needs to be carefully maintained to ensure that it both functions correctly and is safe.

Services FA maintenance

Rotrex OnSite maintains façade access equipment for building owners and facilities management companies. We provide regular inspection and maintenance visits – keeping equipment in top condition and providing remedial action where needed.

We provide maintenance work on a wide range of façade access equipment, including:

  • Access cradles
  • BMUs (building maintenance units) – powered and manual
  • Eyebolts (both pushbolt and traditional)
  • Gantries
  • Latchways ManSafe systems
  • Mobile deadweight man anchors
  • Monorail systems
  • Portable jibs
  • Travelling and fixed ladders

We work proactively, to a regular visit schedule that is agreed with our customers, depending on the needs of the equipment – usually between two and four visits each year.

Our engineer will perform an agreed set of maintenance tasks and, where additional work is needed, will report back to the customer with recommendations for repair or replacement.

We provide clients with printed/written reports for their records and to help with meeting safety guidelines. All of our maintenance is undertaken by our own team of highly trained and experienced engineers, who work within the strictest of quality and safety controls.

Planned maintenance

Planned maintenance is aimed at the prevention of breakdowns and failures. The primary goal of planned maintenance is to negate the repair of equipment before it is required. This helps maintain system reliability and decrease potentially inconvenient and expensive downtime as well as keeping the equipment safe for the end users.

Our fully trained engineers carry out scheduled maintenance visits at intervals recommended by the equipment manufacturer. At each visit we follow and complete our maintenance checklist and provide a report of any recommendations or additional works where required If additional works are required, a quotation will be prepared and issued from our office prior to carrying out any further works.

Our administration team will keep a record of when your planned visits are due and will contact you prior to arrange a mutually convenient time to attend.

We offer standard and comprehensive maintenance contracts with a range of contract terms from 1-5 years or the contract can be tailored to meet our clients’ requirements.
